How it works
Huawei iMaster NCE (Network Cloud Engine) is a network management platform for optical access networks. It manages OLTs, ONTs and the GPON/XG-PON/XGS-PON infrastructure from one place, with built-in diagnostics and automated provisioning.
The METAVSHN Huawei iMaster NCE hardware connector automates ONT/CPE provisioning on XG-PON and XGS-PON networks. When a broadband order is placed in METAVSHN, the connector tells iMaster NCE to register the ONT, configure VLAN mappings, set bandwidth profiles and activate the optical line. No network engineer has to step in.
After activation, the connector also handles firmware updates, remote diagnostics, performance monitoring and automated troubleshooting of optical line faults, all visible in the METAVSHN operator dashboard.
