ALEX integration for METAVSHN
Swiss fiber ordering proxy for participating local fiber network providers.
How It Works
ALEX is a standardized proxy service operated by EG ALEX (Einkaufsgenossenschaft ALEX) that provides a unified interface for ISPs to qualify, order, and provision fiber connections across Switzerland's fragmented local fiber network landscape. Instead of integrating individually with dozens of local utility companies and fiber network operators, ISPs connect once to ALEX.
The METAVSHN ALEX service connector automates fiber line qualification (checking availability and speeds at a given address), ordering new fiber connections, provisioning active services, and managing lifecycle events such as modifications and cancellations — all through the ALEX proxy to any participating Swiss fiber network provider.
This dramatically simplifies multi-provider fiber operations for ISPs, enabling them to offer fiber broadband services across multiple utility networks through a single integration point in METAVSHN.
